FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

“Where do you teach at? or Where is your studio?”

Most of my personal training sessions are at a boutique gym in Manhattan. However, I am a mobile fitness company which means that I bring the fitness wherever I go. I can do yoga sessions in peoples homes or at the park in the warmer months, all are equally rewarding in their own way. Fitness is no longer confined to the gym when Fit Body Wellness is involved.

“What should I expect at  personal training session?

First and foremost, expect to break a sweat (on most days). Make sure you are mentally ready to workout and you are in comfortable clothes. We often workout barefoot (waking up our dormant foot muscles that fall asleep when we wear shoes all day). Keep an open mind because you will learn exercise that you have probably never done before and you will love the way your body feels.

“Do you give nutritional advice?”

I am not a nutritionist, so I don’t give detailed eating plans. However, I do educate my clients on how to modify their diet for weight loss and heart health. I also do give recipes and lots of weight management advice with tips & techniques. If you need a more guidance on nutrition, I have a strong network of naturopathic physicians that I can refer you to.

“How big of a space do I need to have a home personal yoga sessions?”

The smallest space that I work in  is about 10 feet by 7 feet. Anything bigger than that is a bonus!

“Do I need to have my own equipment?”

No you do not need to have your own equipment. All equipment for Yoga & Personal Training is provided for use during your sessions at no cost. You can feel free to use your own equipment (yoga mats) or have Summer design a program for you using your own equipment (weights or Clubbells).

“Do you trade services?”

YES I do trade services with many of my clients. Some do partial trade and partial payment. Depending on the situation, I am happy to consider trade so long as I am not already receiving similar services.
