Fit Body Wellness aims to educate, motivate and empower individuals to lead a more healthy & active lifestyle one body at a time. Summer Huntington provides fitness & wellness coaching using spaces that already exist, and employs sustainable business practices whenever possible.
Fit Body Wellness adapts to the client’s needs by offering:
- Personal Training Sessions in the Home

- Joint/Personal Training Sessions at a Boutique Gym in Manhattan
- Private Yoga Sessions

Functional Fitness: Summer provides well rounded fitness programs for her personal training clients using the Circular Strength Training® (CST) method. CST® is taking a foothold nationwide & worldwide as a superior way to train the body and mind using joint mobility, Clubbells® and yoga. Summer was featured as a fitness model in the Clubbell® Encyclopedia and is a certified instructor trained directly by Scott Sonnon himself (the inventor of this method). After attending 3 seminars led by the team of CST® Faculty Coaches, Summer continues to learn and practice these methods of strength training on a daily basis.
Every client that has started personal training sessions with Summer using Clubbells® is very surprised with how quickly their body changes (without the use of machines or wasted money on gym memberships). Some common improvements are:

A Lifestyle of Wellness
Summer has been a fitness instructor and personal trainer for 8 years and geared her college degrees toward learning more about fitness. She has become specialized in teaching yoga and more functional fitness through Yogafit and the new circular strength training ® method (similar to crossfit or P90x). As a lifelong student and athlete, Summer has studied human movement thoroughly and understands how to teach safely and effectively. She studied at the undergraduate and graduate level in Exercise Science at WWU & is very qualified to instruct you in exercise of all kinds. Her current certifications are from the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), American Council on Exercise (ACE), CST® and Yogafit – all very reputable organizations which are the ‘Gold Standard’ in fitness. Summer is also a 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance. She wears many hats as a Health & Fitness Specialist, Wellness Coach and Yoga Instructor and can definitely help you to reach your goals.

Fit Fact
When choosing a trainer or instructor, do your research on their education and certifications. There are a lot of trainers out there who have simply paid for a certificate online or just ‘look the part.’ They have potential to injure clients due to their lack of knowledge about the body or inability to train in stages. Some reputable certifications which require background schooling include ACSM, NSCA and CSCS.
